He was an MTV "personality" back in the 90s, who made several movies, and became quite famous, in spite of the fact that he's the most annoying person on the face of the earth.

Just think of the most annoying, irritating persion you've ever met. Now multiply that by a factor of 50. The resulting person still wouldn't suck as much as Pauly Shore.
