A little spare time on a Saturday afternoon! So now that I've reached the level of Primitive Tripod Practiioner I thought I'd start a little fluff thread.
Any animal lovers out there? In my house I have 2 dogs, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Basenji. The Basenji is a Field Champion. I'm a dog lover.
My chidren each have a bird, one is a quaker Parrot and the other is a Budgie.
Each child has a rat and a fish tank.
No pictures though.

Will she be competing in bench, squat, DL or all three? ;)
I am owned by one fat and sassy tortoise shell cat named Scamp. It suits. I also for some reason seem to keep getting mixed up with men who are dog lovers, but I am not complaining.

My oldest daughter has two rats and a fish. I want to get dogs, but where I live I cant put a fence up and it has to be a small dog(real men don't have small dogs). When I am able I want German Shepherd and English Bulldog.

At my parents, we had 2 rabbits, lots of fishes, turtles, birds and me. For obvious reasons, no cats and dogs.

I have a 5 year old beagle / Australian Shepherd mix. She's long but short, and her nose is all beagle (did someone say bunnies? where??). She has me wrapped around her paws, alright

I have four kitties. Grushenka, Scooter and Buttons (grandmother, daughter and grand-daughter) all live outdoors. Grushenka and her littermates were abandoned in our "neighborhood." Belle and Callie (our dogs) found her and adopted her. Grushenka is the most lady-like cat we have. Scooter, her daughter is psychotic. Buttons is smaller than average with the teeniest voice I've ever heard. The three outdoor kitties do a great job of eliminating the mice and squirrels that attract rattlesnakes.
Latte is our indoor cat. She has to live indoors because Grushenka and Scooter abhor her.

Hi ms_I
"Will she be competing in bench, squat,DL or all three? "
Sorry,we have no immediate plans to enter Pippin in any or all of those particular disciplines, and I'm sure that if she ever did she would put me to shame. :)
I just couldn't resist a smile at your sense of humour, and my wife then reminded me that a favourite 'trick' of Bro,her Huntaway/Labrador cross of ten or so years ago,was to carry an old car tyre around in his mouth. He also used to drag about with consummate ease a piece of carpet in my gym with a fifty pound sitting on it - how's that for dog power :?:

I have a golden Retiver who is my baby. I have had him for almost 10 years. He still yelps at people (mostly guys) that try to hug me in front of him.

Ron--I finally figured it out, a Huntaway is a NZ sheepdog, right?

Hi Jack
"Ron--I finally figured it out,a Huntaway is a NZ sheepdog, right?"
Yes,spot on,the Huntaway is a breed peculiar to New Zealand alone, and NOT found anywhere else. They were bred specifically for herding sheep, cattle, etc;which they accomplish by their barking ability. :) Most Huntaways are about the same size as Border Collies, however Bro was crossed with Labrador and equally as big and strong as that breed (see my reply above to ms_I  ).Sorry about my slow response to your initial question,Jack.
Regards and best wishes
