I wanted to share a book that I read several years ago and recently re-read over the week.

Shibumi by Trevanian, who also wrote the Eiger Solution. If you like novels about spies, hitmen and or adventure, you will love this book. One of the most unique endings I have ever seen. Everyone read this book at our office about 4 years ago and we still argue and debate about what really happened at the end of the story

Check it out

Yeah - I remember that book from a long time ago...I would recommend 'soldier, sailor, tinker, spy' by John LaCarre - his writing style is the best ever for pop novels and he has the best feel for dialogue this side of richard Price in 'Clockers' - smiley is so perfectly underplayed...I got so fired up rereading it I immediately read the other two in the Smiley series, Honourable Schoolboy and Smiley's People.

I think it's Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Either way, though, you're right. A good yarn.
